The solidarity walk promotes and gives emphasis on the call to include women’s concerns in leadership platforms and the government’s development agenda. This walk is also to show that all women are hand-in-hand in support of the women’s big role in the society.
An estimated 500 advocate attended the solidarity walk for women, wherein the Cotabato City Women’s Council representative acknowledged all the women around the world who sacrifice themselves, even their life, just to protect their family, community, and their country. The participants had also enriched within them the role of being a Juana - being physically and emotionally strong with a warm heart.
Happy Women’s Month!
