Last May 31, 2016, the Department of Health, Regional Office XII had a Ceremonial Turn-Over of Tsekap Equipment Package for the Province of Sultan Kudarat at Antonia’s Resto and Grill at Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. The activity was participated by Local Government Unit health workers such as the Municipal Health Officers, Public Health Nurses, Barangay Health Workers, Rural Health Midwives and our partner agency, Philhealth. Tsekap Equipment Package contains Digital BP apparatus, Non-contact Thermometer, Glucometer, Nebulizer and Dressing Kit.
The ceremonial turn-over was welcomed by the Officer in-Charge, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Consolacion Lagamayo. Dr. Kris Icyn Nuñez, a representative from the DOH, Central Office, was also present during the turn-over ceremony. In behalf of Director Francisco V. Mateo, the message was delivered by Dr. Imelda K. Quiñones, Medical Officer III of the DOH RO XII.
Dr. Nor-Aysah S. Usop, Chief Local Health System Development Unit gave the rationale and mechanics of the activity. Afterwards, a video presentation was played on the instructions and proper handling of the equipment.
The 241 equipment packages were successfully turned-over to all municipalities. The activity was wrapped up with Dr. Mercedes L. Manansala, Provincial Department of Health Officer of Sultan Kudarat, giving the closing message.
