RD Baluma during MR-OPV Prog Implementation ReviewThe Department of Health, Regional Office No. XII headed by Director Teogenes F. Baluma, successfully conducted the Program Implementation Review (PIR) for Measles Rubella and Oral Polio Vaccine Mass Immunization (MR-OPV-MI) on October 1-3, 2014 at Family Country Hotel in General Santos City. The purpose of the said activity is to present the accomplishments of each province, municipality, and city including their best practices and strategies. Issues and concerns were tackled and given proper recommendations.

The top three highest performing areas for MR-OPV coverage based on the accomplishments presented are Cotabato City at 100.8%, Sarangani Province at 100.5%; and Cotabato Province at 94.9%. According to Director Baluma, those areas with accomplishment of 95% above will receive a reward in the form of drugs and medicines amounting to One Hundred Fifty Thousand pesos (P150, 000.00) each.
